practically impossible to separate the plastic and the tape. I took it back to the retailer and she took 8 minutes to separate the two. Great idea. Poor execution. There should be breaks in the plastic to make it possible to separate.

I had never thought of opening the side seam to add a patch, so thanks for this. I do have to say, that a smiley face patch on the back of one's leg will be so peculiar and attention-grabbing that a different method of repair would be better for this location. Speaking of location, who cuts a small piece out of the center of a large piece of fabric? Watching that was like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard. Speaking of listening, it's better to mute the sound and increase the speed.

These have to one of the worst videos I have ever watched, your video does not clearly explain how to use this. The instructions that came with this unit are a translation to English again not clear. My advise to all thinking of getting this, don’t bother.

This product is crap. They don't show you hammering it, because it doesn't actually work. The smaller size does not have instructions either. I managed to poke a hole with some pointed tweezers, but there is no way these grommets will hammer.
